MindfulWell Charitable Trust is an incorporated charitable trust . Donations are gratefully received and enable the delivery of free and low-cost counselling and mental health support through MindfulWell Services.
Our Mission
Welcome to MindfulWell® where your wellbeing journey and healing begin, your wellbeing partner.
We support women and youth to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves through trauma-informed health care offered online and in person.
We provide Counselling, Health coaching, Respite retreats and Community programs, we blend evidence-based therapies with holistic, whole-person approaches that honour the mind and body
Our mission is to help you reclaim your strength and rebuild with compassion.
Our Process
1. SUBMIT YOUR REFERRAL
Submit referral, There will be a link to book your free 15-minute phone consult once the form has been submitted we will contact you at that time to see if we’re a good fit for you, or click the link to book your appointment. No pressure or commitment, just a friendly conversation about your needs in the form.
2. BOOK APPOINTMENT
In our first session, we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and goals. You’ll finally have space to share without judgment, and we’ll create a plan personalised to you.
3. ONGOING SUPPORT
We’ll continue our sessions, adapting our approach as things progress. You’ll develop practical tools to improve your mental health and Health, that actually stick.

Ensuring culturally responsive, accessible, and inclusive services that honour diversity including Māori, Pacific, LGBTQIA+, disabled, migrant, and neurodivergent communities and actively addressing systemic barriers to care.
Whanaungatanga / Community Connection and Advocacy
Building strong, supportive relationships within the community advocating alongside women and youth by working collaboratively to create systems that are just, responsive, and safe.
Our Goals
Promote Health & Wellbeing
Provide counselling, Health coaching, workshops, and retreats that support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing for women and youth to promote preventive care model in medicine.
Deliver Education & Practical Tools
Equip women and youth with evidence-based strategies for emotional regulation, stress management, life transitions and overall better health outcomes.
Support Community & Connection
Foster networks and safe spaces for women and youth to connect, share experiences, and reduce isolation.
Maintain Professional Excellence
Ensure clinical governance, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development for all staff and facilitators
Uphold Cultural Awareness
Incorporate Te Ao Māori principles and culturally safe practices across all programs.
Increase Access & Impact
Expand the reach of our services to benefit more women youth and whānau throughout Aotearoa.
